Hey, I'm Shachaf Rispler (Chaviv)
I'm an M.S. student in Computer Science at Columbia University, conducting research in the NLP Lab. I’m passionate about building intelligent systems that connect language, vision, and reasoning to solve real-world problems.

About Me
What draws me to data science isn’t just the technology, it’s the chance to make something a little better for someone. I care about using data to solve real problems in ways that are thoughtful, useful, and human. At the same time, I’m also excited by the challenge of pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, advancing the research, exploring new ideas, and building tools that move the field forward.
I’m curious, enthusiastic, and always asking how technologies like GenAI can be used more meaningfully. I’ve learned that the best ideas usually start with good data and good questions. And if you're also thinking about how to use tech to make an impact, or just want to share ideas, I’d love to connect.
My Projects
